Guide to Hong Kong 香港之旅 - Places and Food Discoveries! (V.1)

This entry is a compilation of places and food I have experienced during my long holiday at Hong Kong during Winter Season, 2012 with my family and relatives.

Basically, our trip in Hong Kong is nothing but trying out the local comfort food, no Disneyland, no La Ma Island and even the Water World Park.

So, here we are with the details of what to expect and where to eat!

港岛 (HONG KONG ISLAND) 
i. 銅鑼灣 (Causeway Bay)
    * Places to visit :
      - Shopping Paradise(overview)  

    * Foods to eat :
       - Dim Sum by 鳳城酒楼 (Fung Shing Restaurant)

ii. 中环 (Central)
      * Places to visit :
       - Business District of Hong Kong (overview)

     * Foods to eat :
         - Local Coffee Shop (Char Chaan Teng) - 翠華餐廳 (Tsui Wah Restaurant) 

iii. 湾仔 (Wan Chai) 
     * Places to visit : 
       - Night Walk @ Wan Chai(overview)
 
     * Foods to eat :
       - Local Coffee Shop (Char Chaan Teng) - 新嘉美茶餐厅 (SKM)
        -Cantonese/ Seafood Restaurant - 名爵 (The Grand Hall)

九龙 (KOWLOON) 
i. 旺角 (Mong Kok)
    * Places to visit : 
      - Lifestyle at 朗豪坊 (Langham Place) and 通菜街(女人街)[Tung Choi Street (Ladies' Market)]
      - Nigh Walk in Mong Kok (旺角夜景) 

     * Foods to eat :
       - Local Market at 朗豪坊 (Langham Place) & 通菜街(女人街)[Tung Choi Street (Ladies' Market)]
       - Sweet Soup at 糖百府 (Tong Pak Fu)

ii. 尖沙咀 (Tsim Tsa Tsui)
    * Places to visit :
       -Streets sight seeing

    * Foods to eat :
       - Peking Cuisine by 北京楼 (Peking Garden)
       - Cantonese Cuisine by 鸿星海鲜酒楼 (Super Star Seafood Restaurant)
       - Bread by 澳洲牛奶公司 (Australia Dairy Co.)
       - Breakfast by 澳门茶餐厅 (Macau Restaurant)

       - Wantan Noodle by 麦文记面家 (Mak Man Kei Noodle Shop)


iii.荃灣 (Tsuen Wan)
      * Places to visit : 
       - Our Amazing 73rd Room at L'hotel Nina et Convention Centre

      * Foods to eat : 
       - Dim Sum by 陶源酒家 (Sportful Garden Restaurant)
 
In fact, Hong Kong is covered with varieties of foods, just walk in and enjoy the feel!


Just to let you all know, in comparison of Hong Kong Island and Kowloon, I LOVE KOWLOON more!
