It was Saturday evening when there's no where to go and since I'm alone while waiting for the hubs to finish his job. If you spotted me in around that area, don't mind to say Hi!

Spotted De Vie Deli and went in to have a cuppa with slice of crepe. I love to have crew once in a while. :)

星期六，除了喝茶减压，还可以做些什么呢？如果有一天您看到我在咖啡屋附近，别奇怪哦！来打个招呼吧！嘻嘻 :)

Sweet, sour, bitter combination of coffee, a bit weird, however, it has interesting taste.

有点酸酸，甜甜还有咖啡味的一杯。有点怪，可是蛮特别的，值得一试。

- They Interior 室内装潢 -

Simple and clean design, just like other cafes under the name "De Vie". We just need to choose our favourite crepe from the fridge and beverage from the menu and pay for the bill! Not only those crepes they are offering, they do have other desserts too! And each "De Vie" have their specialty as well. Check them out!

舒服，简单利落的装潢也是近来很受欢迎的。好吧！每家 “De Vie” 咖啡屋都有他们的独特甜点，你们也该去看看吧！

Da Fatt Xing 大发兴 is the coffee shop in Likas which may of us, the school leavers familiar with.

It was located just opposite the main entrance of All Saints School. All Saints school reminds me quite a lot of memories and perhaps many of us, the school leavers will flash back a bit of how naughty were us. Those days.

位于里卡士的大发兴曾经是陪我们一起成长的一家茶店，老板娘的确还记得我哦！虽然只是一份笑容，那也是我们开心的欢迎那些熟悉的脸孔。我是曾经就读All Saint 的，妈妈曾在那儿附近做生意的，所以在里卡士也逗留很久了。

- Tuaran Mee 斗亚兰面 -

Some of them said it has one of the best Tuaran Mee in town. As for me, the taste was a bit flat when we were there for breakfast after so many years. And YES, they were once claimed having the best Tuaran Mee.

Tuaran Mee was originated from Tuaran. And the owner of Da Fatt Xing was from Tuaran and came to KK to run his coffee shop many years ago. I think the shop was there more 20 years ago.

被列为其中一家著名斗亚兰面的一家茶店，但对我而言，那句也只是曾经。曾经真的很好吃，我也很喜欢他家足够火候的滑蛋河。如果没记错的话，这家已经营业的超过20 年了。

Our school that has been changed a lot since we left. 现在的学校不像以前的我们读书时简单，没要求的环境念书。

China Part 4 - Guang Xi Region : Gui Lin - Yang Shuo
中国篇 4 - 广西：桂林 - 阳朔

An interesting yet beautiful city of Yang Shuo. Stepping out from the long hours of ferry ride along GuiLin River, the air seems fresh at Yang Shuo. Such a calm and quiet destination to visit.

Embarked at the jetty and we walked along the pedestrian area - West Street! So beautiful and it is similar street as Jiu Fen, Taipei, Taiwan! Interesting souvenirs can be found, as for street food, not recommended. We had doughnut and it smells OILY!

阳朔/ 桂林的确是拥有漂亮风景也称为中国美景之一。乘了好久的船，我们也到达了下一个目的地 - 阳朔。我们步行到酒店，也乘着时走马看花！下一个节目就是晚上，我们观看了“刘三姐”露天剧场, 百人表演也让我们大开眼界。

The moment I saw "illy", I wanted to try them and thought that the cafe would serve something good, but turned out, the donut was oily and mom was nagging me letting my dad eat the donut. Crap. (-_-)

一家让我失望的咖啡屋。还以为可以吃到一些我喜欢的食物。（叹气）甜甜圈有一股油味，我还被妈妈骂！

Just by the look of the presentation, their dumplings simply eye catching. The first impression when I knew there's a cafe highlighting their coffee and Shantung (China) dumplings were an odd combination. No matter what, it was quite surprising that people like us might want to try out the cafe.

第一次试了这家饺子咖啡馆，光听它的招牌是有点怪怪的。问自己咖啡与饺子怎么配呢? 好吧！我们乘午餐时间就去试一试！

- Kon Lou Noodle 干捞面 -

Although the noodle was oily, however, I love the noodle texture which is springy and just nice. :) Non the less, the taste of Char Siew was savory and the oil layer of it was just nice as well, not over done with it.

试了他们家的咖啡，干捞面，饺子还有煎包。味道是有的，但平均都蛮油腻的。也许现在已经改良了他们的美食配料了。我们到这家餐馆也有一段时间（刚开始营业的两个星期内），也许不再像之前了吧。

Saw the oil bursting from inside out! While having the fried bun, remember to dip the vinegar with ginger slices! Without them, the fried bun will taste oily and that's how the Chinese eat!

China Part 5 - Guang Xi Region : Gui Lin - Yang Shuo
中国篇 5 - 广西：桂林 - 阳朔

Firstly, ask yourself how could you manage an excellent show with hundreds of actor and actress. Every one will be the person who run the show, to sell the tickets and to welcome us at the entrance and others. Wait till you impressed with the chirography and the lighting of the outdoor show.

百人的印象刘三姐真的让人目不转睛，一切以张艺谋导演的技术好让我们有个美好的传说中的刘三姐故事。好漂亮的景色，灯光，等等。一生人该到中国欣赏导演所编的表演。

好了，就让你们欣赏那晚我们所观赏的演出。

I told you it was amazing and my jaw almost drop. The lighting, the setting and so on were incredible. People flying too!

表演不错吧！:) 好啦！就到此。我的头今晚好疼，好疼。。。

It was a very very short staycation in town and at one of the well known hotel in KK City. If you could remember, we had our wedding banquet at The Pacific Sutera, and that's the hotel complimentary stay for us. Finally we have to time to relax ourselves. :)

两天一夜的酒店密夜的确很短哦~ 但最重要的是我们有稍微休息一些，抛开工作的去休息休息。

It was not that frequent we have the chance to be in Pacific Lounge. So, we went there to have a look before we decide our schedule.

我们到了酒店第十一楼的 Pacific Lounge 走走看看，也喝了杯果汁。景色好壮观呢！

A welcome note at the table and lovely decorated bed and even the washroom. Comfy bed that I would not want to get out of bed after having my sleep!

The outdoor from our suite room, indeed a calm view of Kota Kinabalu. We had a long walk after settle down with our necessaries.

这就是我们房外的景色，面向大海！蓝蓝天空，蓝蓝海洋！沙巴真的很美呀！

Pacific Lounge is a private lounge for only special guests. No wonder the place was quiet and me and Mr. Hubs went there for drink before we end our day.The view from 11th Floor just magnificent, sad to say that the haze just spoil a little of the sunset view. :(

I was excited when I saw the bath tubs was decorated with petals, and I love flowers!

It was my first taste at Ang King Lam Coffee Shop. Morning breakfast in Kota Kinabalu will be can't avoid from noodles, what ever noodles that you might think off.

And during one fine Sunday, where we wanted to try some where new for breakfast, we went to downtown and had our bowl of noodle from one of the oldest Hainanese kopitiam in town. Well, you know that Hainanese in the olden days will be running coffee shop businesses. :)

近来看到了朋友们推荐这家本地茶店干捞面，看似很美味也一直保留着经典的味道。这次我也到了这家茶店吃早餐，亚庇/ 沙巴的早晨是少不了面与汤哦！

茶店的历史蛮久了，也是早年的海南人来到了南洋时代创业所坚持的一家茶店。别问我，档子历史有那么就吗，我也不知道啦！如果我知，必定分享给你们。哈哈哈！

- Black Coffee, Kon Lou Noodle, Soup and Chinese Pastry -

Mon said that she love the TauSa Cake, therefore Mr. Hubby bought a few loaf (price was cheap) for the family. Talk about the green noodle we had, I totally loves it! The fried minced meat, especially the curry leaves fried with shallot was a WOW! Something different to taste in town! I am happy with what I have tasted, not much oil to stir the noddles. Corn soup was sweet and black coffee just my cup of coffee (instead of tea!).

妈妈说她喜欢这家的古早味豆沙糕点， Dan 先生也买了一些回家。我们也吃了点，糕点当让要与咖啡配搭咯！手工菠菜面味道好好哦！我喜欢，也不油腻。炸小葱与咖喱叶味道很特别，下一回一定叫一碗来吃！

In KK and even other Chinese coffee shop will be serving similar name with various ingredients to be add in to suit our taste, those just Mr. Hubby's choice.

一个人的档口老板。 Dan 先生所配搭的配料，沙巴很多时候早餐都是名称一样，但配料可以随意。不懂要什么的，就Mix 一下！

It was nice to be in town and tasted the local food, moreover I saw the person that once bully me during my primary school time. Those days just I'm too stupid to be bullied.

来到了这家茶店，仿佛小时候无知与爸爸妈妈到外吃东西似的。

- The Old Couple Stall -

First, I was wondering which one of the two stall that serve the famous Kon Lou Noodle where introduced by many. Wala! I present you this plate of Kon Lou Mee! It is the old couple which the husband originally from West Malaysia.

Thumbs up on the springy noodle, but I'm not favouring the oily based of the Kon Lou noodle. Can you see the oily plate.

终于品尝到了那碟著名干捞面了！黑黑的，油滋滋，但面条真的不错。也许我不爱吃太油腻吧，我还是觉得菠菜面比较适合我的口味。

It was a nice breakfast downtown the other day. :) I will be back for the coffee shop Kon Lou Mee! Good recommendation for local Chinese food. Reasonable priced!

Our trip was quite relax, as more eldery in our group of people. We went sight seeing and had a short walk to the nearest places.

Here we went for bamboo rafting, watching the nature habitat of Sea Eagle catching fishes and see the oldest oak tree.

一般上中国可以有个很舒服的旅途，只在于朋友还有适合的旅行伴侣。我们的旅程很舒服，那次也没走很多。因为有位年长的婆婆是与我们旅行。

The rafting man even offered me to have a try for rafting us. Gosh! It was not easy! We need to be fast and be extra careful when we trying to do that!

没想到师傅竟然邀请我来挑竹筏的工作。告诉你！不！简！单！

- 世外桃源 Shi Wai Tao Yuan -

One the same day, we went to "Shi Wai Tao Yuan", a place where we can learn about the culture of China, some of them are quite similar to ours here in Malaysia, can't say that our ancestor were not came from China right?

It's been a while since the last I have shared my home cook recipe!

This week I have tried something different for a change. As usual, in the end created something different. In fact, I wanted to cook Teo Chew Steam Fish but in the end, lacking of salted plum and add on with a bit of twist, the amateur chef came out with Sino Steam Fish as such I have named.

Sino Steam Fish (inspired by Teo Chew Steam Fish)

看到了咸菜，我也乘机煮潮州蒸鱼！是我也进化成了西诺蒸鱼, 没鱼露，没水酸梅。哈哈！

以下有中文版食谱！

- Into the Steamer 蒸炉中 -

- The ingredients 材料 -

- The mixture (Sauce and ingredients) 炒过的材料 -

The original Teo Chew Fish was modified and came out with my own preference. :) Do enjoy! The following recipe is a guide that I have search online and modified according to the portion that I prefer.

Ingredients:
A

- 800g One whole fish (Replaced with Slices Fish)

- 1 stalk spring onion, cut into 3cm length

- 1 Japanese Tofu, cut into piecesOR 1 Cube of Tofu, cut into 4 pieces

B
- 1 tbsp Oil
- ½ tbsp. chopped garlic

- 1 tbsp shredded ginger (Sliced thinly)
- 2 stalk mushrooms, soak, stems removed, sliced thinly

- 1-2 medium tomato, cut to 4 wedges (or more)
- 100g salted vegetables, clean and sliced thinly (Adjust with own preference)

- ~~2 salted plums~~ (Replaced with Plum Sauce)

- 1 red chili sliced (optional)

Seasoning:
-1 tbsp light soy sauce

- ~~½ tbsp fish sauce~~(Replaced with Oyster Sauce)

- 1 tbsp ShaoXing wine/Cooking rice wine
- 2 tsp sugar (Adjust with own preference)
- 8 tbsp water (Adjust with own preference)
- dash of pepper

Directions:

1. Heat up 1 tbsp oil and sauté chopped garlic until fragrant.

2. Add in sliced ginger, mushroom and stir well.

3. Continue adding in remaining B ingredients, seasoning and bring to boil, dish up.

4. Clean and cut three slits on the fish. Arrange fish on steaming tray, place tofu on the plate.

5. Pour over with the (3) mixture and spring onion.

6. Steam at high heat for 8 minutes or until cooked (test with fork)

7. Remove and serve hot

潮州蒸鱼

材料A：

鱼，约800g 1条
青葱段/丝 1棵

豆腐 1块

材料B：
油 1大匙
蒜茸½ 大匙
冬菇，切丝 2朵
姜丝 1大匙
蕃茄 1粒
咸菜，洗净，浸泡，切丝
100g红辣椒，切丝
~~水酸梅 2~~粒（酸梅酱取代）

调味料：

生抽 1大匙

糖 2小匙

水 8大匙

鱼露½大匙（蚝油取代）

绍兴酒 1大匙

胡椒粉少许

做法：
1．烧热1大匙油，爆香蒜茸，加入姜丝、冬菇丝炒匀，加入其余的B材料和调味料煮滚，盛起。

2．鱼洗净，用刀在鱼身上斜割3刀，用碟盛起，淋上煮好的(1)料和青葱段。
3．煮滚蒸笼水，放入鱼大火蒸约8分钟或至熟，取出趁热享用。

贴士：

潮州蒸可用白鲳，斗底鲳，石斑，石甲，马友等等。

Most of us are interested to find out about the Chicken with Waffle when it goes viral among us in Kota Kinabalu.

Same goes to me, I like to eat waffles. :) Last Sunday, out of a sudden and since it's public holiday on Monday, we went for a glorious breakfast on that Sunday. It out to be..... (cough cough)

今日介绍人人都想品尝的 Joe Sun 松饼鸡肉片。

- Chicken and Waffle -

Large portion for one person. Both of us ordered two meals, Chicken and Waffle was one of it and Egg Benedict as well.

Add on with salted eggyolk sauce and vegetables. I like the combination, but frankly speaking, the waffle was soggy. To the extend that made us unhappy with the taste, too "wet" when we had it. They might consider to change the flour they are using now. The outer layer taste nicer which was bits of crunchiness.

It is rare to see me tying my hair while taking close up photos. ;) Yea~~ You are lucky to see me here!

It was fake! Just an advise, they might think of long term cleanliness that fake plant will bring lots of dust! Need to clean those once in a while. And certainly I like the clean and simple design of their cafe.

简单来说，也许那天是我的第一次，也是我的最后一次赏试这家咖啡厅美食。他家松饼让我伤心哦~ 为了松饼还有那盘夸张鸡肉片，我也到此一试。 :)

如果他们有进步了，告诉我！我会再去品尝一下。

- Egg Benedict -

Egg Benedict, vegetables, sauce, soggy waffle and dried fish flakes. Egg was just nice, waffle was soggy. :( Joe Sun must improve the waffle!!

- Long Black and Flat White -

Joe Sun serving coffee that taste more to sour. Not a typical coffee that I like. :) Just a personal preference, don't worry. For health conscious customers, Joe Sun serving tea and pressed juice too!

他家咖啡是偏向酸的味道，我是不爱喝酸的咖啡啦！这也是个人喜好而已。 ;) 中而言之，每个人都有不一样的经验还有味觉，这家咖啡厅你也可以来试一试。价格方面还ok，都是大同小异哦！

It was a random day trip to have a visit at our Floating Mosque, bringing relative from abroad to have a city tour in town and it was a brand new experience to see ourselves wearing "Tudung" for the first time. Gosh!

- Kota Kinabalu City Mosque aka. Blue Mosque/ Floating Mosque -

The actual name for the second main mosque in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is Kota Kinabalu City Mosque. The citizen and tourists are well known with the name "Blue Mosque" and "Floating Mosque".

Just to let you know that our first main mosque and also known as the State Mosque is located at Sembulan.

Rented the gown and had a walk in the mosque. Very clean and simple building structure inside the mosque. The above is where the Malay can walk around, it is like their lobby.

We were lucky to see a young couple getting married, smiled widely for both family.

The rules that we (the non Muslim) need to follow, we are not allowed to walk at the main hall of the mosque, we only can take photos and walk along the pre set walkway.

The mosque is open for public daily from 8.00am to 5.00pm, except Friday. Friday is the day when they did their praying and Friday is know as their Holy Day.

That's all for those who wondered how does the internal view of Blue Mosque looks like. Interesting. For your information, wearing the gown and "tudung" was weird and people can't recognise who are we. Completely looks like a Malay.

Additional information, the men will also be renting gown and the "Haji" hat before they can enter into the mosque. Unlike before, men and women who wear modest, covered both hand and leg

Built on a 2.47 acres site at the Likas bay, the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is exemplary of the Islamic contemporary architecture. Situated near the sea, this majestic white mosque boasts similar features to the Nabawi Mosque in Medina. This floating mosque has a prayer hall which houses three madrasahs and accommodates from 9, 000 to 12, 000 people at a time.
By far the largest mosque in Kota Kinabalu, the Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is even possibly the most beautiful one in Malaysia – the man-made lagoon which surrounds it gives a serenely gorgeous and dramatic look to the mosque on a full moon night.
The Kota Kinabalu City Mosque is open for public visits daily except Fridays from 8am to 5pm. There are no fees charged on visitors.

So, the famous Seng Hing Tom Yum stall has moved to a shop in town. It was blocks away from the previous one and finally have the chance to try out!

Fresh seafood would be preferable to all of us. Combined with the taste of spicy broth and milk, it was slurping goodness.

Besides Tom Yum, Ah Chee have added a few more dishes. We tried their Laksa, eventually ingredients were fresh, however, the Laksa taste was flat, nothing to praise in fact. And that's one of the dish that they have to improve, I still love the taste by Yee Fung Laksa. :)

除了冬炎以外，阿志还加入了几样美食。我们吃过了他家的拉沙，可是味道不怎么样。有点淡，汤底还不入味呢。也是还很新，汤底还没变成陈年老味。

Langkah Syabas is located along the beach and it is not an extraordinary place for some wedding couple to have their wedding reception here. :) Once I took their package, despite of the hot weather and elderies from our list, it turn me off and search for the best we could for everyone. Aw~ I miss our wedding somehow. :)

A refreshing drinks that I always go for. Its really the best drink for hot day.

- Cheese with biscuits -

I love to have homemade food, especially supporting local production for most. I love both of the cheese served - Brie and Camembert. Both having different taste which Brie is slightly bitter while Camembert is not. Which one i love the most? I love Brie!

A very normal Club Sandwich that served by Langkah Syabas. I was wrong and I should have ordered the toast bread instead.

China Part 7 - Guang Xi Region : BaMa Village
中国篇 6 - 广西：巴马村（长寿之村）

It was a remote area far from NanNin 南宁. Having the highest level of ionizer that even the cancer patient could be cured, non the less, due to the same reason that the place is crowded year by year.

After 4 hours of journey from NanNing to BaMa Village. Finally, we settled down and stay at the best hotel in BaMa, therefore everything inside the room seems clean and managed.

- 百魔洞 Bai Mo Cave -

The behind cave will be the one we explored on our first day in BaMa. The cave would be somewhere you can play with your imagination of seeing many of figures, from goddess, animals and even a scene of the under water world, it was amazing.

While seeing the cave, we also been explained that 瑶族 The Yao people still live above those hills, a small village only for them. To find for a living, they walk down to the cave to sell their crops. Pity and sad, but this is the life of the Yao.

The secret of BaMa is you will not feel tired, as the whole place is discharging the negative energy in our body.

A walk in Bai Mo Cave is quite easy and relaxing. Some may say (people who smoke) that, it clear out their polluted lungs!

Completed our visit at Bai Mo Cave and we went to visit the elderies whom age is more than 100 years old. We even can ask for the secret of long lives. The secret will be eating light and green, drinking Ba Ma Village water.

The eldery also having side income by allowing people from outside visiting him, we even gave him some red packets with cash as a thank.

The old man and same goes to other elderies were invited to do a short video as an adverts, to let China know about BaMa.

In fact, I love BaMa Village. It is very quiet and calm place. The food still acceptable, there's a few dishes that only available in BaMa Village.

It was relaxing to have a massage session once in a while. It might be hurt for some massages as it depends on our requirement on their services offered. Before continuing with the comments on how was the massage, I am going to show you the surrounding in the following images.

A short tour at the spa, there are two types of room, which are single bed and double bed. Double bed would be nicer if there's a friend to tag along.

We choose Muscle Ease Massage which is more intense that suitable on athletes and tiring people like us. Although my masseuse was petite and slim, she is one that have strong energy to massage us with the correct pace and strength. Well done!

It was an interesting massage session with Mandara Spa, started with slightly pain and I was asleep towards the end. It is extremely relaxing. :) Service were great and they can be trusted as I left my gold necklace at visible place and it is still there after our massage.

Mandara Spa will be my recommendation for Balinese massages.

#Sandakan 山打根 - Part 1 : @fourpointssandakan

Out of random thought and invitation, I bought my flight to Sandakan two months before. It was a great experience of foodie hunting around Sandakan town and outskirt of Sandakan. More over, we had so much of food in one day since breakfast until after dawn with additional of few landmarks as well. This is how we spend our short getaway and short honeymoon.

And such, it was one of the "milestone" that we break our record of having nine (9) meals a day. During the ninth meal, I felt a bit dizzy and it should be the seafood Bak Kut Teh that I had earlier. Oh my... To be advised, not to have so many foods in a day! :D

From this trip, I have met a Sandakan blogger who found me via online months ago and just to let you know, he is an interesting yet generous person who I met! :) A little secret to share, I do have Sandakan readers too! I'm so flattered and able to meet them in person!

Here goes with my first Sandakan exploration Part 1. It was sunset when we went to have a look at their infinity pool area. We got to see the city view sunset instead of sea view sunset as seen from Kota Kinabalu beach.

The best part of traveling is to stay in a good hotel after a whole day of exploration. Four Points by Sheraton would be our choice whereby it is located at the center of town and waking up to the magnificent view of Sandakan bay. :)

The scenery above is the view from 13th Floor, where The Eatery, the Infinity Pool located. It just WOW, the higher we go, we could see Sandakan town and the wide sea even clearer.

Spacious room and comfortable environment. We did went out for early walk as well, the safety is fine. However, we shall bear in mind that every where we must aware of the surrounding people. :) Army and police are in town doing their surveillance, so it is okay to walk around.

In fact, Sandakan town was great for nature and food. :) Somehow, I'm thinking of returning there in the future. To many eateries to explore and transportation is the key to every where!

Coffee House which located at the main entrance of Four Points Sheraton Sandakan. I love the Coffee House with those pastries and light meals, especially the coffee treat of e-ping! (Espresso Ping in real words)

The Chicken Sharwarma should be a grab, an interesting taste created only by the hotel coffee house. Three different sauce dipped with the homemade wraps, it's amazing.

Spacious couch area for guests. For waiting and coffee/tea session.

It was an amazing stay with Four Points Sheraton and thank you. :) For them who opt for a road trip to Sandakan, it will not be a headache about parking issues, the hotel have the jokey service that totally safe and helpful.

That's all for the overview of the hotel. :)

Perhaps it was not the only one serving the best fish balls and noodles in town. Sandakan is well known for their good foods and guess what, they always says Sandakan people are quite fussy when it's comes to food!

The first stop - Uncle brought us to have our breakfast after fetching us from the airport earlier, our flight was 7.00am and we arrived Sandakan at 7.30am, it was much almost half hour early that expected. *Huge eye*

And we started our Sandakan food trail since then!

Everyone in Sandakan will inform each o ther by using Miles. Eg. Mile 4, 6, 7, 8 etc. Just their language and description of area and location.

Broth tasted tasty, spicy and creamy! Totally loves it and those "Yong Chap" (Vegetables stuffed with meats aka Hakka eateries) were totally incredible awesome! Hardly found such a plate that been served generously. :)

很好吃的一家小食馆，下次来山打根就必定来这家吃他们道地的味道。

For those who opt for lighter taste, instead of spicy like what I had, you can choose your favourable Yong Chap to be served who our preferable soup!

Kong Teck do serve suppose to be one of the best in Sandakan. And they only operating five days in a week while Monday and Tuesday will be their rest day.

Part 3 : Sandakan, Sabah 山打根

Immediate from our scrumptious breakfast, the first must visit that we went was Puu Jih Shih, a well known temple at the highest spot of Sandakan and placed at the mountain with the breathtaking panoramic view of Sandakan Bay and Town.

Puu Jih Shih is approximately 2.5 Miles away (located at 5KM 五厘) away from town and you might think of renting a car in Sandakan, as it takes time to travel one place to another. We were lucky that we have relative who is kind to borrow us their vehicles to made us convenient to travel around and more food to explore!

We were definitely just in time to see the newly furnished Puu Jih Shih, building were uplifted as explained by Uncle. Gorgeous and clean.

shall be the Hokkien Temple - Feng Shan Shi 凤山寺 that I never heard before, Uncle drove us there and temple just beautiful and mystery as always. We could smell the burnt joss stick that we believe the locals prayed for themselves and all.

At Feng Shan Shi, we still can see the view of Sandakan bay, but slightly lesser. Anyway, the goddess sculptures are more than Puu Jih Shih if I'm not mistaken.

Sandakan, Sabah. 沙巴，山打根。

It's been ages since the last I went to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre. Basically, blurry memories that I once had since primary. So, we finally made the decision to have a visit to both rehabilitation centre and also Lindung Sepilok, which one of the reason to make me decide to visit Sandakan for short trip.

- Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre -

We were lucky and unlucky to see only few Orang Utan at the centre, while didn't realised that there's a unit that covered with glasses and separate visitors from the Orang Utans, whereby we can watch the Orang Utans play around under the guidance of the care taker. So, we missed to see those babies Orang Utans as well.

The following would be what I have experience during the visit at the outdoor. Once, there were plenty of Orang Utans will appear during feeding time, but now... we can't see many as the jungle is not a closed area, but an open jungle. Sepilok is just middle of the whole jungle.

Ain't they beautiful? There's a baby hugging its mother which was on the right!

While we were walking back to the exit, there's a wild young Orang Utans which walk just besides us! Well, it was quite worrying as they might snatch our belonging or maybe a slap to your face? hahaha :D

Reasonable and luckily we are just in time for it!

Visitors and especially those who appreciate the nature are in love with our Sabah nature. Do love and care your surrounding, instead of developing too much, the wild needs a home, or else after couple of years, our future generation will not be able to see what we saw today. :)

After the visiting, we went to Lindung Sepilok, which was the left building once exiting the Rehabilitation Centre's gate.

I have received an email from Lindung Sepilok but in the end it doesn't have any reply anymore. About the details... nay... not going to share. Cut story short, I went there personally without notifying the person who contacted me, making myself not that rush with that prefixed time table. It's holiday anyway, right?

When I was there, I did email the person, but she is not around. I also understand that traveling from one place to another in Sandakan will be time consuming. :) And me and Mr. Hubs grab a drink and back to town for food again!

- Lindung Sepilok -

It was an eye opener atmosphere and design that Lindung Sepilok have inside and when you look outside the window, there's a lake. I love the design with the blend of nature inside and out. It just worth to have a look if we happened to visit Sepilok. :) Just to let you know that walk further down, there's a cafe as well!

About the drinks that we had, it's quite normal though and there's more space to improve! Once improved and that would be a great place to be for food and nature!
